Re: AW: DigitalDevices Dual DVB-S2 Testing (CAM/DiSEqC)
Hi rbo,
taking a look at the manual of the Fujitsu Siemens D1562 mainboard I would try changing the following options in the bios. But please write down the original settings so you can always go back. Please note that some of those settings affect the power consumption of the computer. In case of success you can always activate one option after another and see what configuration is working.
in Advanced Menu:
- CPU HLT Detection/ CPU Halt Mode (C1E)
Standard
- Enhanced SpeedStep
Disabled
- PCI Bus Parity Checking
Disabled
- PCI Parity Checking
Disabled
in Power Menu:
- CPU HLT Detection/ CPU Halt Mode (C1E)
Disabled
- Enhanced SpeedStep
Disabled
As said above, after disabling some power saving features in my bios the Cine S2 was not so sensible anymore.
I got my information from this thread (German):
DAS hier könnte Dir helfen bei Bildfehlern und/oder Bild/Ton-Ausetzer! - MCE-Community.de
Spread Spectrum is explained over here:
Spread-Spectrum Clocking - Developer Zone - National Instruments
Good luck

...
Ciao
rbo.
