Love the skin so far but had a question -- is it possible in MP to have the background be animated?

If you've seen the XBOX360, you know what I mean -- a very subtle movement in the background really brings the interface to life. Just a random thought on a sunny Saturday afternoon.

Really great work with 3DMP beta 2! I am running MediaPortal on a very old 650 Mhz computer and therefore performance is deadly important for me. I have used beta 1 since it was released without any problems... but beta 2 is extremly slow. It take over a second to browse to the next item in the basic menu. Any idea?

I have modified the mytvrecordedtv.xml as told and i works fine, but im not able to press "record" on my remote to record a program... how can that be? It doesent work in tvguide either...

You need download the zip file with Dialogs.xml, and unzip in your 3DMP skin folder, please look this...

Only in the beta3, this is a only "Beta2 Preview release" for "Others developers and xml editors"

Just a quick question


Ive turned off weather as i cant get any where close to me and i use the basic home screen. Today i just noticed if i go into "my weather" from the home screen i go to the main home.


Is this suposed to happen or is it just a lovely glich? (theres nothing bad about it, i find i usefull)

Beta 2 is really great keep up the good work.
But when I switch channels with the key F7+F8 the EPG always shows running program of present channel not the one I switched into!

Sorry this was a bug of stable Patch 0.2.0.3.

The original skin files with Uitzending gemist doesn't work very well when simple copy-pasted in this skin.
If no one objects, I'd like to create some xml there, scavenging parts of the original and parts of this skin. I'm quite busy however, so I won't keep pace with Vanessa's extreme speed. [...]

No added glossyness. However, because some controls (notably some selectbuttons in the original skinfiles depended quite heavily on references.xml, this plugin didn't work very well in 3DMP. I've added some control characteristics to make these two files less dependant and added the TV header, thought it should be there.
It works OK now, though lacks some glossyness. Might work on it.

I tried working on a logo for uitzending gemist, but my photoshop talant sure showed to be below par. I'd propose something in these lines, but...

Vanessa, I hope you might be as kind as to step in. More media might be on www.uitzendinggemist.nl If higher resolutions than the ones visible on that site are needed, I wouldn't mind sending an e-mail (supposing your Dutch is as good as my PS talents :wink: )
