Are you on HDMI or Spdif? Multichannel PCM would only work with HDMI, with Spdif you'd have to downmix to stereo. But then it is better to just bitstream DTS Core.
According to his System Specs, he's using HDMI :)

and a hint for you: MPAR is able to encode the audio again to AC3 for Multichannel support on SPDIF ;)

Sorry brining up an old thread but if you encode it again to AC3 for SPDIF support, how much quality do you loss vs bitstreaming via LAV?

Just try both on your setup and compare. I'd say it depends on you and your equipment. I definitely hear the difference on my setup even without reencoding to ac3 by just using mpar with multichannel vs bitstreaming. Now I only use mpar with files without ac3, dts, etc.
