I have a problem setting up TV-server. I bought new PC same setup as the old one with two network cards (one for IPTV one for internet). Set up everything the same way as the old PC and I get this error PMT not found, when i hit preview button (log files attached). I also tried with VLC, and some VLC based program specifically made for my local IPTV provider, and it also doesn't work (I also posted on some other forums about that).

I ran WireShark and I can see packets running to destination IP (232.4.1.3:5002), so I think the problem is not with network setup.

Any ideas?

    Hi GasperG

So you're using the experimental DVB-IP filter? Best to get support from georgius in that thread...

If VLC doesn't work, it will be hard to help you. Do you use some antivirus/firewall solution?

I got VLC working, but only if I Bridge 2 network cards (don't want that - security resons). Under this setup in MediaPortal I get uknown error.

I have Avast antivirus and windows firewall, I tried disabling both, with no positive results.

I also tried disabling "internet" network card, and it doesn't work.

    Hi,

    for clarifying:
    1. do you use original IPTV filter (supplied with MP) or some another?
    2. if you disable "internet" network card than VLC works?
    3. can you post url which you try or attach playlist?

    1. I use original MediaPortal setup
    2. VLC is only working if I bridge network cards, Disabling internet card doesn't work
    3. udp://169.254.16.169@232.4.1.1:5002, First part is IP from IPTV network card, second part is from the playlist

will try phisicly removng extra network card, and try only IPTV

You don't have to remove physically internet network card. Try to disable internet network card and try in VLC udp://@232.4.1.1:5002 (don't forget '@') if it works.

Already tried disabling one network card than the other and it didn't work in VLC it only worked when I bridged two network cards together.

I will probably try installing Windows all over again, first with only one network card, try to get it work then add the other card.

Did you try in VLC udp://@232.4.1.1:5002 or udp://169.254.16.169@232.4.1.1:5002? It's not same addresses.

Edit: Did you try to disable internet network card and try in VLC udp://@232.4.1.1:5002 (don't forget '@') if it works?

I tried nearly all combinations and nothing works. Tomorrow I will make fresh Windows install.
