I don't think that fresh Windows installation will solve your problems, but you can try it. On your place I check:

• if you have correct address
• temporary turn off your antivirus and firewall (after turning off you should check if you have connectivity)
• before disabling and enabling network cards close VLC

Then for each network card I will try:

1. close VLC (if not closed)
2. enabled network card (all others disabled)
3. open VLC
4. open network stream with correct address
5. wait if it works
6. close VLC

Because you have Wireshark, you should use it to monitor if packets are received.

If nothing helps, than you should try bridging network cards and test with VLC with same address, if it works.

Hi,

I re-read again conversation and found that in first post you have written another address

I ran WireShark and I can see packets running to destination IP (232.4.1.3:5002), so I think the problem is not with network setup.

3. udp://169.254.16.169@232.4.1.1:5002, First part is IP from IPTV network card, second part is from the playlist

Didn't you test with wrong address, because you wrote that nothing helped?

I have playlist with 100+ channels each channel has IP in form of 232.4.x.x:5002, so both IPs are correct.

Ok, I installed complete OS again, and first thing I tested was VLC. I did notice what could cause one of the problems, when you start a program that wants to access specific port on network you get Windows Firewall window to allow this connection, but by default you allow this connection only in home group, and IPTV network is automatically configured as public group. I should have tested with windows firewall off all the time, I did try turning it off but apparently something else was also wrong.

I have been watching IPTV on PC since 2006, with 3 different PCs and have never had such problems. Now everything is working fine.
