What version of MediaPortal are you using?
I thought you were using 1.1.1 but it looks like you're using 1.2.0a. The binaries I have built in this thread are for 1.1.1. In the other thread I also posted binaries for 1.1.2 and SVN head (~1.2.0b). There is no binary for 1.2.0a yet. Do I need to make one?

have you already tried to record programs with chinese symbols in EPG (than hadn't worked before patch)? are you able to play them later?

yeah , it can recoding and playing able in vlc,but some channel is can not play with mpc-hc
but it is the other thing~

my windows is x64 english with chinese gui ,and set the non-uncode prog to english
system time is english ,i set it to chinese test later

i only set zho(chinese) ,use the patch in 1.1.2 is all chinese epg ,1.1.3 is half chinese epg ~
1.2.1 not have use patch.1.2.1 can not use SetupTv.exe --DebugOptions dupe the ts source to upload for test..
