I just had TV choke on me (picture froze, sound stopped). MP didn't freeze though and I could stop it and return to the EPG.

As this has only happened since I changed to v0084 dshowhelper, I'll post about it over in that thread as well but perhaps you could have a look at the logs in case it's not that :)

    Hi doveman :)

    I don't know what's happening :( it should not happen if no video/audio was change on the same channel. If it change it's maybe a bug in rebuild graph.

    I can see that :
    2011-12-08 18:04:12.049577 [(24)]: Exception :TvLibrary.TvException: Unable to start graph
    at TvLibrary.Implementations.DVB.TvCardDvbBase.RunGraph(Int32 subChannel)
    at TvLibrary.Implementations.DVB.TvCardDvbBase.DoTune(Int32 subChannelId, IChannel channel, Boolean ignorePMT)
    at TvLibrary.Implementations.DVB.TvCardDVBT.Tune(Int32 subChannelId, IChannel channel)

    Not sure if it comes after failed on MP side or on TVServer side when tunning but it's like an old log.

    but here :
    09-12-2011 00:19:38.432 Recorder:pid 258 Continuity error... 8 ( prev f ) - bad signal?
    09-12-2011 00:19:38.432 Recorder:pid 259 Continuity error... 9 ( prev 1 ) - bad signal?
    09-12-2011 00:19:38.485 Recorder:pid 25d Continuity error... e ( prev 4 ) - bad signal?

    It can be comes from here (like a signal corrupt and so Video/Audio didn't comes back, it's maybe related to v0084 dshowhelper but i'm not sure, maybe you could try tsreader mod from Tony. https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/811296-post5.html.
    Thanks :)

    No, no change. The problem was around 00:19, so the 2nd log is the relevant one

    It's strange 'cos I've never had any problems with v0084 in the past so I don't know why I'd need the tsreader mod now. No harm in giving it a try though, just need to keep track of which mods I'm using ;) Thanks.

    I don't think it's anything to do with dshowhelper - looks like there was a loss of signal (i.e discontinuity errors in TsWriter log) followed by a large jump in the PTS timestamps - the standard TsReader.ax will get stuck if these jumps are greater than 10s......the 'noStopMod' versions don't - hence the name :)

    e.g. from TsReader log:

    Code:
    09-12-2011 00:19:38.496 [934]Video Continuity error... 8 ( prev f )
    09-12-2011 00:19:38.497 [934]Audio Continuity error... 9 ( prev 1 )
    09-12-2011 00:19:38.498 [934]DeMultiplexer::FillVideo pts jump found : 10.080000 3107.806396, 3097.726318
    09-12-2011 00:19:38.499 [934]DeMultiplexer::FillVideo pts jump found : 10.120000 3107.846436, 3097.726318

    Thanks Tony, that makes sense, guess I just haven't had a loss of signal for a while :) I'll go and install the "noStopMod".

    Hi Seb,

    There's a small issue which may be nothing to do with your patch, but I find the subtitles display too far up the screen. I've tried adjusting the subtitle position with the Calibration settings but that doesn't seem to have any effect, so was wondering if you know how to do this?
