So, to sum it up, disregarding 2 weird channel names, in tp_298 packets were of normal, 188 bytes size, unlike in tsrecord2 and that's what causes such behaviour?
Yes the tp_298.ts file is correct and following the DVB standard.
The reason tv3 doesnt like it is since it fails to verify the crc check of the SDT tables. I'll post a version here which does not check the crc for you to play with.
In the mean time, i'll try to fix this since crc-checking does have its advantages
    when having bad reception.

Here is a tswriter.ax without crc checking.
Please let me know if this now works...

    svn 15309 should have:
    - support for for cyrilic and other non latin languages in DVB
    - disabled crc checking for sdt tables so it finds more problematic channels

Hi Frodo, I can confirm that the modified tswriter.ax works for me!

    Thanks Frodo.

Have you disabled CRC checking all the way - or is it just when scanning? Given that there are benefits having CRC checking enabled as you explained earlier in the thread...

    Tanks frodo.

The channels are now found and working quite well.
I get alot of studering, but i gues it has not to do with the TVE3. I think my signal is to weak.

One reason for the stuttering could be the stream corruption? As if you are also getting CRC errors when scanning, it could be that there are CRC errors as well in the program stream.

    Yes, it might.
But i have got some stuttering in TVE2 too last night.
I have just checked my signal with a old nokia DVB-T settopbox, and it has only 50% without the signal amplifier and about 90% with the amplifier, so it could be better ;)

    Can second(or third :D ) that.

Didn't have any stuttering with channels on problem transponders, neither before nor after crc disable patch.

Hi can you tell me what you use to compile tswriter.ax. I was unable to compile it without getting lots of syntax errors using vs2005. I did install dxsdk etc to no avail.
