I'm getting the same thing. the following is a screen shot for the normal MP setup(not TV server) and all works great.
    TV-Normal.jpg

This is the first time i load TV server after a clean install of both MP 0.2.1.0(MediaPortal-svn--10-30-2006--19-59-Rev11412.exe) and TV server (tvengine3-10-30-2006--01-11h--Rev11390.zip).
    TV-server-1.jpg

the other thing is that i get 4 options for my Fuision Dual card(Prioritys 1,2,3 and 4)
    both my cards a DVB-T.

After a sys reboot i get the following screen and i'm unable to view any thing. as when i go into My TV i get the msg "No video/audio detected"

I have solved this problem by setting the TVServer service to start manually. I then run a batch file when the default user logs in at start up to first start the tvservice and then start mediaportal, ie:

    mpstartup.bat:
    net start tvservice
    start %path to MP dir%\mediaportal.exe

This seems to solve the issue with the tvservice thinking my cards are analog. I think it may be something to do with the tvservice trying to start before the mssql service has fully started, but i am not sure. By delaying the startup of the tvservice this problem is fixed. Anyone else have any comments? Can the TVService be set to have a dependency on the MSSql service?

Same problem around here. It sets up the cards good when installing but after reboot it detects my hybrid card as 2 analogues. I delete the SQL database, restart the tv service, it detects again my card as 1 analogue and 1 DVB-T, but after reinstalling it goes again to 2 analogues.

    Hi,

Is there any news on this? I had the same problem when I first tried the TV server, so I reverted back to the "standard" MP. I don't have enough time at the moment to do any serious testing, so I am quite happy to wait as long as it takes for the new TV engine to be completed.

Thanks to all of those who do have the time and knowledge to help with the development/testing.

    Hi,

The problem with DVB cards showing up as analogue is still there. I have installed the server setup on one machine, and it runs fine as a single-seat setup (HVR-1100, only the DVB part enabled).

I then installed the server and client on a second system with the Nova-T card. When going into the configuration, this card was showing up as analogue. Several restarts later, it is now showing up as a DVB card, but neither of the computers can access TV (unknown error occurred).

Also, in the TV server configuration, most of the options down the left-hand side have disappeared. I have seen this with the first version as well (see attached screenshot).

Log files from the TV server (on the client machine, if that makes sense) are attached.

I am more than happy to help if there is any way you would like me to run tests.
