Hi,

i've tried to scan for the 6 new DVB T2 HD Test Channels, but TV Server config doesn't find the channels. Logs are attached. I assume, that the tuning parameters are wrong, but how i have to edit the tuning parameters?

Hi all,

Helios61, did you do a full DVB-T scan? The channels just showed up for me after choosing "All Regions" for Region/Provider, country is Germany in TVSetup.
I cannot see that in the logs, however Tuner found always channels so I suppose you selected some specific region?

The bad side for me: they showed up as Radio Channels not in the TV section ...... good sound when previewing .... but no video
I've got:
Win 10
MP1.14 (incl. LAV Filters)
Hauppauge HD-5525 (should be compatible with software decoder)
DVB-T Antenna was not changed, it is a few years old. I read that frequencies should stay the same, no need to buy a new antenna.

Hi, @Thalid , have tried to scan all regions, unfortunately no luck. Maybe @mm1352000 can help here. IIRC there was an issue with tsreader and h.265.

exactly. TSReader still unable to recognize HEVC encoding, so @Owlsroost should have a look to it.

There is no support for HEVC in TsReader, and I don't have much free time to work on it at the moment, so it might be a long time coming...

TV server will also need modifying to support HEVC.

Yes, exactly. MP2 uses same parts here: TVE3, TsWriter, TsReader...

Hi,

I recently bought a AverMedia TD310 with DVB-T2 capability (just for ARD HD and ZDF HD) and have the same problem. DVB-T2 chanells are showing up as radio channals rather than tv channels. DVB-T2 with software from AverMedia works fine.

is there any update on this? Maybe with the MP 1.15.0 pre-release (although I didn't find anything in the changelogs)?

As Owlsroost said, this could be a long time coming. Realistically we're probably talking about a time-scale involving months, not days or weeks.

Hopefully sooner rather than later. It would be very good to get this working before the switch over starts in May next year.
As of a scan this morning I'm seeing the test channels both in the Radio and TV sections (Test version MP 1.14 with madvr support), can't play them though.
