i am wondering why this version of mediaportal is only offered in this hidden subsubform thread and not on the official download page.

There will be an official release of MP 1.16 Pre Release with this feature implemented very soon

New version (git-1.15.0.746) of the installers for MP 1.15 Client and TV Server

i installed this MP Version few days before and it works very good without problems up to now. dvbt2hd hevc tv test channels work in germany. i am wondering why this version of mediaportal is only offered in this hidden subsubform thread and not on the official download page. why not offering a beta/nightly section on official download webpage ?!

'Area51' is the place for test builds with new/updated features (which is where I posted git-1.15.0.746). It concentrates the testing and feedback for individual updates each in a single thread, which is much better for development purposes.

Years ago we used to have weekly builds, but it made user support difficult with lots of different builds around, so the team decided to stop publishing them.
