DVB Teletext and subtitles not working (1 Viewer)

Just a quickie, how do you disable DVB subtitles? They are permanently enabled for me and pressing the 'subtitles' button on my remote doesn't do anything...

Disable the setting in my screenshot does it for me, unless you have vobsub\ffdshow or some codec related setting enabled for subtitles.

Of course you can.

Press the MCE yellow teletext button or 'L' on the keyboard.

If those doesn't change, you are most likely watching a channel that has burned in subtitles in the video stream.
