    stil not same problem

Hi guys, thanks for a quick reply!

I tested to recreate a user and again give it the permissions listed in the setup.pdf and change the database name. Now looks like below:
    Server Name: myservername
    User/pass: mpepg
    Database Name: MpTvDbRC2
Database type is MSSQL 2005 Express
Test logon and got “Connection to… Successful!”

Again tested download and things still look great. Since I still don’t have anything in my EPG my guess is that it fails to get the information to my SQLE. There is no log file for this in MP EPG so how do I look this up in SQLE? If I open table PersonalTVGuideMap (is this even the right table?) it just says NULL and there is nothing in the database.

Attaching my MPEPGSvr.ini if you want to have a look (renamed to .txt)

Yes some more diagnostics would be helpful.... any chance Big_Kev?

I don't know about MySQL, but in MSSQL, the table is called dbo.program. When I run an SQL query of select * from dbo.program, I can see all my EPG data.

    may be working now

I run MSSQL Express, SQLE for short... I open dbo.program by right clicking it and select "open table". Now I see lots of stuff in it, so things may be working as intended. Sadly I'm at work now but will test it when I go home for lunch.
I'll get back with info later!

    EDIT:
    home and now its working!
What I did was recreate the account in MSSQLE and now it works!
Thank you Big_Kev for a super sweet application!
Thank you tompa and globaldonkey for the help!

I love you guys, thank you! :)

heh.... I was doing it the hard way. We're both using MSSQL (Express).

If the data is in there its a MP problem. Possibly a corrupt database.

    tv.swedb.se missing Showtime

I have it up and running, everything is sunshine!
However tv.swedb.se don't have Showtime channel in their database.

Does anyone have another provider that have this?
If you have read previous posts in this thread you know that I need all the settings associated with it like url and settings for MP EPG :)

I downloaded the latest version of this but have hit a roadblock at step 1. The "SQL Server management studio express" isn't on any menus and none of the exe's in the SQL server folder brings up anything that looks like the screenshots in the doco. Where can I find this program?

    Thanks

Thanks Tompa. That solves that problem.

Next up, I find the screens are a bit screwed up. For example, the EPG page places the "MP Channels" list far over to the right (I see about 20 pixels of this) and the "reload" button is beyond the right of the window. When I resize, the panes resize and nothing I can do will bring these controls into view.

Skipping this, I then tried "download now" on the schedule page and got "19/11/2008 9:25:53 AM - EPG Downloader could not connect to TV Server database: Error=[AnyDAC][Comp][Clnt]-340. Driver ID is not defined. Set TADConnection.DriverName or add DriverID parameter to your connection definition"

    Any thoughts on these? Thanks
