after mapping, press the "save" button and then go to schedule page and pressed "Download Now".

u might have a Microsoft crash sign, but dont care just press Download again.

if this dont work, check ur settings again...

u probably already done this but how knows

Thank you for our answer and as you said I've tryed all that But when I putted a password to the login it worked.
However now I get EPG downlod succeded but no channels found. Have you had anything like that before.

encoding problems

I seem to have problems with getting the utf-8 encoded EPG data into database when using EPG Downloader (regardless of the database type mysql or mssql). How does Downloader speak to the database? Is there any encoding conversion being done in the process?

Okay I've started using Version 0.0.0.12 Beta

I'm using http://xmltv.locost7.info/Adelaide/OZtivoAdelaide.zip

and it seems to be missing a lot of channels on the EPG Data Mapping (granted they are mainly unused/duplicate channels such as Seven Digital 2 & 3)

I only 'worked out' this URL from the Setup.PDF I'm not even sure what it is that I'm grabbing is there alternate/better sources for the URL?

Yeah, I think that data is pretty ordinary and stopped using it quite some time ago. In all honesty, for the commercial channels in OZ, I find the grab off the DVB-T stream to be the best data. I use WebEPG to grab the yahoo pages as a backup, and to provide ABC and SBS data, as the DVB-T stream for these channels usually only has a couple of days data (at least that was the situation a few months ago). I use this tool to import the data into MP, rather than xmltv, because xmltv wipes out the DVB grabbed programs. Its all or nothing with xmltv plugin, whereas this tool only inserts the channels you tell it to. You can point this tool at the local xml file that WebEPG grabs.
