You also need to check "Send events to EventGhost" in eventTrigger configuration and if you want to send events by TCP/IP you have to add the Network Event Receiver plugin in EventGhost.

with a clean eventghost file/config it works, but it wont work with my eventghost config. Have to figure out what s wrong there.

But i want to repeat my request: Is it possible to have a message created if a mediaportal plugin like myemulators gets selected/opened? Then i could make eventghost changing my display config automatically.

Or is this not possible?

Just to make sure it's not the obvious; you don't have the checkbox lower left checked in EG by any chance? That has tripped me up a number of timesand each time I feel really stupid...

It's not an option at the moment... I may add it in the future.
Next version will only include a few bug fixes for problems introduced in the latest mediaportal (surfaced by Mickelin).

LastFM no PLAY event trigged

Hello! before you send to the worl a new version, can you please check that?

I'm having problems with LastFM and Eventrigger. When I start a radio stream, it plays nicely but no event is sended to eventghost. If I pause I get a "Main.MediaPortal.RadioRecording.Pause" event, and also a Resume when requested. Hitting Stop, calls a "Stop" properly but no play event at the start of the music.

I also have one feature request:
Could it be possible to send Mediaportal Volume changes and Mute events to allow external audio like Amps to be controlled and synchronize by MP?

Test build that'll hopefully solve some mix-ups with the events. See if helps you, if not - please send me clean and detailed mediaportal logs so I could check it out more thoroughly.

Not sure what you are looking to do, but Eventghost can pick up the volume/mute events directly from your remote/keyboard and control your amp. No need to involve Mediaportal.

I'm trying to use EventTrigger and EventGhost (latest version) to dim my IR controlled lights when a movie starts and raise them when paused or stopped. Unfortunately, I'm having trouble getting EventTrigger to work with 1.2.2. Logs are attached for trying to play an MP3 and a couple DVDs in ISO format. Events were triggered and shown in EventGhost for Music as explained below. Events for playing the ISOs were not show in EventGhost.

Regarding the Music events...I noticed an earlier post someone indicated the Play event wasn't occurring. I experience this for Music if the "Event Length" is anything greater than zero. I set it to zero because the plugin configuration wouldn't remember when the check box was deselected. When I entered the plugin configuration, there was that pesky check mark.

Regarding ISOs (and MKVs too), I couldn't see any events in EventGhost. I could see the ISO being mounted, but no Play, Pause, or Stop events. I am able to see Video events for my MP4 videos.

So to break it down into points;
1) I seem to have a bug with the checkmark in video duration in the plugin settings. I'll look into that.
2) It doesn't work with ISOs at all. Not sure how to add support for that but I'll look into it...

Yes of course, with my actual remote (conceptronic) but conceptronic eventghost remote driver is buggy giving me a lot of errors, like repeated presses (even if unpresed key) and planing to move to a new remote, if eventtrigger sends volume changes events to EVg, I'll for sure been able to use my external amp with EV and MP. here is also a small difference betw control the volume and the Mute functions from a key press and an event call. Ex. lets say I press Mute. in my remote. Eventgohst will send mute to my amp and Mediaportal. If my computer goes too Standby in between... PC to Stand by and AMP to OF. wen recovery, my Amp will be unmute and PC mute... (I've work arounds to fight that things), Or... a volume change in KB (not remote) will un mute PC but not AMP, but if MP-Eventrigger sends those commands I can have all of them in sync.
