Ever see the skin Retro for xbmc? (1 Viewer)

Hi, I'm the creator of the skin Retro for xbmc. I actively updated this skin up until June 2004 for xbmc but as I've been building a house for the last couple of months no time has been put into it.

Now I've decided to let go of the graphics for this skin and would really like to see it ported to MP. The thing is I still don't have the time to put in to such a job and I'd like to find someone to cooperate with. I'd still like to be somewhat in control of the actual pixelpushing, just to keep the basic experience alive. But I'd like to find a person willing to focus on the xml-coding. Layout and general setup would hopefully be a joint effort.

Mind you I'm actually not a regular MP user and just want to do this for the fun of it And maybe partly also a way for me to motivate myself to buy a HTPC...

I would be more than happy to make a skin out of your graphics.

but,
Are you willing to make any missing graphics for us then to?
They will mostly be graphics for the TV guide and logo's for on Home for TV and Radio.

Wow, Mario64! This was more then I hoped for Wouldn't have expected you to have the time knowing what you do for this project.

Ofcourse I'll do the missing graphics! That was my plan no matter who were willing to pick up the work with porting the xml-files. I'm about to finnsih building and moving in my mew house so I'll need some weeks to settle there but after that I'll be reday to fire away at anything gfx related needed.

I'll dig up the retrostuff from my cold storage and get it ready for transfer. How does that sound?

Ok,
I started making the xml yesterday.
Home screen is up and a sub screen for musicsongs.xml.

There r somethings kinda hard to do.
Like the visualisation, it would be great if this could be changed in the code as has been a whish for a long time.
I'll be talking to frodo and see if he will grant my requests

MCE also had loads a skin changes so maybe we can make the skin engine better now to!!

I'll be sure to post my progress here so you guys can reply to what you do and don't like...

btw. SOme things are animated.. Looks great!! (animated gifs)

Here the first shots.
I am missing some graphics, like the MediaPortal text on home.
ofcourse also for sections on home like
email, radio,alarm etc.
