    Well, I bought the Twinhans like 4 years ago, so I assume they are shipped with newer drivers now... If you have have a minute over please post your exact version.

    I installed 1.1.2.700 and it seems to work, however I don't have any CAMs connected.

    Hi again everyone

    Spragleknas: just wondering if you got the CI menu up and running eventually (?). I ask because I've been quitely beavering away refactoring and improving our hardware support classes. One of the things I did for the Twinhan class was to fix the CI menu support (especially for TerraTec clones). Anyhow I think I'm getting close to done with the Twinhan class and now I'm at the point where I need as many testers as I can get, so if you're feeling brave enough then head over -->here<-- and give the patch a shot...

    Hi mm.
    It doesn't pop up using MP -> CI-menu - [Open Menu].
    I can access a CI-config via the DigitalTV-app (DTV).

    So is that with or without the patch? It is very possible that the CI menu won't work at all without the patch. With the patch I'd expect you to have at least seen the menu although you may have seen problems. paalkr reported some issues with the CI menu behaviour for the AD-TP300 when using my patch last night so I posted an updated patch shortly afterwards. If you are using my patch then I'd be keen to seem some logs if it wouldn't be too much trouble. tv.log and error.log would suffice.

    A quick question about CI Menu, I noticed this in the log;

    2012-01-08 11:03:30.953800 [(5)]: CiMenuSupported called cardid 2
    2012-01-08 11:03:30.953800 [(5)]: CiMenuSupported card DTV-DVB Mantis DVBT BDA Receiver supported: True

    2012-01-08 11:38:56.180800 [(13)]: CiMenuSupported called cardid 2
    2012-01-08 11:38:56.180800 [(13)]: CiMenuSupported card DTV-DVB Mantis DVBT BDA Receiver supported: False

    The same card seems to report both true (~97%) and false... Is this ok, haven't noticed any real issues related to this.

    Using two identical Twinhan 3030 with 1.1.2.700 drivers, No CAMs present.

    Hi JBravo

    I would generally expect it to return true all the time since the hardware has potential to support a CI slot. Don't be worried about it - I wouldn't expect any problems from that whatsoever.

    Hi again

    Yes that is absolutely normal with MP 1.2.x. If you were trying my patch that I talked with Spragleknas about a couple of posts ago then you wouldn't see those messages - you'd only see a message when the CI/CAM state changed... and since you haven't got a CAM plugged in that means that you wouldn't see any messages at all.
