OK - can you try noStopMod29 and noStopMod30 with LAV QuickSync - these were last versions before the first H.264 header parsing mods were added - just a quick check if they work or not with H264 TV ?

    OK - thanks.

When I get time I'll try and build a version with the header parsing mod removed, so we can find out for sure if that's the problem (or not).

I have a problem that I think is caused by tsreader. If the smartcard for some reason (busy, disconnected, etc) misses a ecm the picture naturally freezes. But if the next ecm (after ~10 seconds) is ok, the picture is still frozen. I need to skip a little backwards and then skip forward over the frozen part to keep watching. This also applies for recordings.

Can you post some logs showing the problem ?

    Tony

Here they are! Started MP. Switched to TV. switched to TV2 HD. Picture freezez becuse of missed ecm. have to skip bakwards then forwards to start watching again.

Tried with noStopMod44 and that seems to have fixed the issue. Only tested it once though. Thamks!

Maybe you could have a look at the logs just to confirm.

    Hi Tony,

first of all I'd like to thank you and the rest of the team so much for your superb work and your dedication to this great piece of software!

I had the problem that is described somewhere in the numerous threads where the screen froze when I switched to a HD channel, but you could still hear the clicks from the remote for a short time and after this short time the machine would freeze completely. I had to do a hard reset which often lead to subsequent problems with mySQL becoming corrupt ....

But ... since NoStopMod 44 (and switching from Haali to LAV and updating the video driver) the error is completely gone and MP is rock solid ("again" I must say because it used to be rock solid in previous versions. I do not know with which version this problem was introduced. I would guess somewhere between 1.1 and 1.2?). We watch TV only via MP and I do not hear any complaints from wife or children :). Even idle EPG grabbing works flawlessly.

What I would like to know is, how NoStopMod44 is related to the area51 tsreader described in this thread: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...black-screen-rtsp-infinite-loop-fixes-105545/

Will this one also solve my problem or is the fix for my problem not included in the area51 version?

    Best regards

It's hard to say (as I don't know exactly what is causing your problem) - try the area51 version and see if it works OK....

No sure if it is of any use, but I tried a lot of the different versions available here over a long time and I have to say that for me the unaltered version of MP 1.2.1 still works best (installed on MP 1.2.2 of course)

    Cheers.

Out of interest, what's better about the MP 1.2.1 version ?
