Wrong thread really for that question, but the answer is - use the version that works best in your system..... :)

The standard MP 1.2.2 dshowhelper is basically a 'no_DWM' version - the 'DWM' versions enable 'queued DWM' mode in the Aero desktop. This can produce smoother playback with less dropped frames on some systems, but improvements seem to be video card/video driver/system dependant (some people find it makes the performance worse....)

There is only MediaPortal.log in the .rar file - as I said before, I need all of the logs

    Tony

sorry for the misunderstanding..... i was on hurry, just woke up, i took those logs while was getting ready to go work ..

here, finally ;) , the full client logs

it happened with the v44 i couldn't play a recording then i tried live tv but i got the usual tv service lost and on the server the tv was continuing to timeshift.

closing mp and opening the recording (that mp failed to play ) with vlc by unc path made the recording playing ok...... also with the other cabled client i can open the recording and connect to the stream that was timeshifting on the server

i still not sure if it is just a wifi problem or mp or tsreader, but seems with v41 it is not happening and it started to happen after months of correct behavior until i tried v45.

i dont' want to waste your time , just to be sure that is not a tsreader regression.

bye and thank you very much

No change ;-( Strangely it does NOT happen with recordings over UNC. It only happens with LiveTV or recordings which are still recorded...

    OK, couple of questions:

    1. Does noStopMod45 work OK ?

    2. What happens with other video decoders (not LAV) ?

When the South Park recording is opened (in MediaPortal.log) it stops immediately without even trying to build the graph i.e TsReader.ax isn't involved at all :
