Improved compatibility with other players e.g. PotPlayer (subtitle output pin will not connect to any filter when used outside MP).

Only just saw this. Thanks very much. Nice solution. Much appreciated!

Not so nice as now it wont be possible to debug the DVB subtitle issues within GraphEdit. I would much more prefer to be able to debug the issues with GraphEdit (much faster) than have a workaround for some 3rd party application that the filter is not build for in the first place.

Still having this problem where every time I resume from standby and start TV, I get audio but a black picture. I have to close and restart MP to fix this each time, which I never used to have to do, so something's gone wrong somewhere.

Any comments on the possible bug found(see log/video posted at page 73)?

There's nothing obvious in the logs, except that it looks like you haven't got the Aero desktop enabled, so you might try enabling this and see if it helps. Video data seems to be getting as far as dshowhelper, so I don't think this is anything to do with TsReader.ax

Hmm, I thought I'd been careful to re-enable Aero after disabling it but perhaps I forgot.

Anyway, thanks for checking the logs, if it happens again I'll start a new thread as it doesn't appear to be related to TsReader.ax.

I found a bug in Tsreader when using Server/Client setup - A Bug that occurs with both Original and experimental Tsreader.

Tsreader does in some cases not recover properly from a Continuity error - The Video playback keeps showing "old" frames.

I will later link to 2 videos that show the issues. (Especially see the time counter on top of picture in video 1).
    Video 1:
    Video 2:
I can resolve the issue by doing a rewind and/or forward back to realtime playback. Also a stop/Start does recover the streaming. (video 2)

I have this issue almost every day.

In the attached logfiles, a freeze occured in playback at 22.04(Caused by either bad signal, wireless connection or cpu/disk usuage?)

For the next 15 minutes the video playback kept being corrupted, untill I did a 15 sec. rewind.

Can someone please have a look at this, and help confirm that this is actually a bug?

    Thanks in advance
    Morten

The issue in video 1 is really strange - I've never seen that effect before, and I can't even guess which part of the system might be causing it (Tuner card/TV Server/MP Client etc.)

Does the sound also loop back ?

Well, if rewinding on a timeshift file stops the corruption then it is likely not the TV Server side because rewind has no effect on the tuner or TsWriter.

I've not seen that kind of corruption pattern before either, but it kind of reminds me of what happens when editing h.264 recordings with VideoRedo and some of the reference frames/blocks are lost. However, I wouldn't have thought that the effect could persist for so long. I wonder if the codec itself is getting in a tizzy?
msj33: Have you tried different codecs to see if there is any difference in behaviour?

    Excellent question.

I have seen a similar effect before, I narrowed it down to powerdvd codec, I switched to lav and not seen it since. I just tested switching back to powerdvd and it still does it here
