Hi everybody i am a new big. I just installed MP2 and i have no idea of how to install extension or extension manager either way.

There is no extension manager. In the download section you can find plugins with a manual how and where to extract them within the MP2 installation folder.
For future an extension manager is planned.

Even though I know how to install plugins and considering the fact there are not many yet, will the extension manager come with MP2.2?

I hope so too. It is a powerful tool and it makes it very for a grandma to use Media portal.

Not only grandma, hopefully also more plugin developer. Honestly the number of plugins for MP2 is very poor and partly the developer are not active any more. At least that what I feel about WebRadio for example.
