Great explanation
So the best is to great a RADIO folder ? and that Fanhart handle it ?
But why it take the Pictures of Moving Pictures and not only the pictures that has in the folder 'Skin Fanart \ movies'

Sorry to say that the fanart handler does not support a separate entry for radio fanart today, only music . I'm looking at implementing additional folders but not in the immediate future.

Hi,

So you are using the movie folder for radio? If so, yes that is a problem because the movie folder is used as the movie fanart base for many plugins (like onlinevideos, myVideos). Just like the music option is the base for music (selected music, played music).

Tnx for the response cul8er, that clears things up, although i'm still a bit confused why it was working correctly with RC1. I'll just have to use the 'games' folder instead then, because that works

I have made some big changes in how the fanart handler plugin works (optimizations and overall improvements) and would like to test these changes before making version 1.10 public. So if anyone wants to help testing the new version, please send me a PM and I will provide the download details.

Don't know if you have already read on the forums; there are a lot of users who have problems with internet content not downloading in MediaPortal when fanart handler is active due to some proxy setting from fanart handler. I have not looked closer at the code, but they have always resolved the problem by disabling fanart handler. Just wanted to drop this here, as you are getting ready for a new version.

Hi offbyone,

I got one report of this yesterday but none before that. If anyone that have this problem can test the new version it would be very appreciated as I don't have the problem myself and cannot test it.

EDIT; I have found the problem and yes it is a fanart handler problem. I'm setting the proxy to wide so it affects all web requests. This is fixed in the version to come. But having said this, and end user should not have proxy enabled in the fanart handler if they are not behind a proxy. So if any users have this problem you can just enter MP configuration and goto the fanart handler plugin and disable the proxy support and all will work (incl fanart handler). Sorry for any problems that this has caused.

Version 1.10 of this plugin is now released. I have made some big changes in how the fanart handler plugin works (optimizations and overall improvements). A big part of the plugin has been re-coded in this release.

first thank you for this plugin and in principle it works for me without problems.
only error / bug is the brief flicker of mymusic in fanart or MyMusicPlayingNow.
I only use A fanart, but plugin tries to change (in the config in sec. adjustable) was set to 120 seconds to install it only after 120 seconds "flickers" -> option for "0" = switch NIE/NONE would be an option .
