Hi GiN_negro,

I'm not sure that StreamedMP has support for fanart in the myVideo plugin. Post a question in that skin forum and you will get a correct answer. My x-factor skin uses fanart for myVideo and I have no reports that it does not work. Hope you can get it solved.

Thank you very much for the answer. I`ll try posting there but could you tell me how do you name de .jpg files to get it shown in x-factor? Same as file? Same as tittle?

Hi,

Please have a look in this guide under section "Naming Convention for your custom fanart".

Short version. It matches on the title shown in myVideos. If the title is like "Matrix" and you name the image matrix1.jpg it will be a match.

If you are using moving pictures the backdrops downloaded by that plugin will automatically be matched to be used in myVideos without manual handling.

I found out what was going on, it was simply that I did not have a folder selected in the music database section of mpconfig. This caused it to cycle endlessly. Well I think this is the case

Hi cul8er!

I get this error when Mediaportal starts (and disappears when I disable Fanart Handler):

[Error][(15)]: SQLiteClient: MusicVids.db3 cmd:sqlite3_prepare16vm=null err:ERROR detailed:no such table: Artist query:select artistName from Artists;

In the database folder I have a MusicVids.db3 file, but it is empty (or at least it is 0 kb). Which database is this one? I haven't install any plugin that creates this database

Do you know something about it? Anyway, the plugin works perfectly, so it seems that this error isn't very important.

This error is fixed in the version to come. It is just a warning and should never had been put in the logfile.

Hi,

Just started using this stuff and got a short question: is it possible to define a different location for the fanart? Would like to put it on another disk, mine is getting crowded
I've searched but couldn't find it.
Other than that: super plugin!!

You can use this tool to create NTFS junctions. It will behave exactly like a directory but will link to somewhere else.

So just link the fanart directories to wherever you want them. The tool copies files automatically too.

Baboonanza, that looks great! I will try it when I've done all the settings I want to do and have made an image
Mainly because I am not sure how to undo it :s (probably just recreate the directory but better safe...)
