I will now continue testing the latest version to make sure everything works correctly. Please let me know if you find any issues with the test version attached a few posts ago. My goal is to release the new version this weekend at the latest.

It seems to work very good and also backdrop on radio if we select movie folder -> it show only the backdrop in this folder -> all done very great works

I don't know wheter this has been fixed in 1.10, this happened on latest stable:

I'm using hibernate. So hibernate in MP, start HTPC and MP is running but very slow start and wheni closed MP the process still ran in background and i had to kill it.

EDIT: Same in updated version i think!

Sorry for not providing any logfiles to you before but I have had no time playing with MP for the last few days.

Today I tried the "FanartHandler_TestVersion2" and can confirm that my problem is now gone! MP runs smooth at the start with low CPU load and the scraping is done very fast. With version 1.10 the CPU load was up to 100% and the scraping could take up to 10 min.

I have just tested the TestVersion2 and wow it does make huge difference.. Before, MePo wasn't very responsive at start, lagging but now it's gone..

I would just note one small thing.. #fanarthandler.scraper.percent.completed is initialized at 100.. so it first shows as

"Fanart Scraping: 100%", then it quickly changes to 0% and proceeds further as it should.. Shouldn't it be initialized at 0?

Thanks. About the percent. There are two different scrapes at startup the first is scraping any new artists added to MP music db that hasn't yet been scraped. If you haven't added any new music this will go so fast that you will only see the 100%. Then the second scrape inititiates and that scrapes the "new image" page at htbackdrops. I will see if I can change this so it only reports once.

Ahh, it's clear now. Thanks for explaining It would be nice if you joined these (for percentage) or published properties about current scraping type (localized strings)..

Has the update problem in the MPe1 been fixed, 1.10 registers as a predicator to 1.90. Thanks

This is a problem in the new installer application. Dukus will look at it when time allows. To solve this for fanart handler I have decided to release next version as 2.0

Fanart Handler Plugin v2.0 (and music fanart scraper)

Hi,

Version 2.0 of this plugin is now released. This release fixes the CPU/stuttering problem introduced in version 1.10 and a couple of more issues that you the MP community has reported and helped me to fix. Also introduced is the possibility to now use fanart in MP's tv sections (like for recorded tv shows).

Please report any issues and include logfiles and I will try to help you as soon as possible.
