You could try this UNOFFICIAL FH from our dev Sebastiii - recompiled for 1.6.
Copy the dll into your %MediaPortal Base%\plugins\process folder (MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE!)
Use on own risk - No guarantees at all!

Hm, replaced the File and using 1.6.0pre. But it looks like it doesnt work.

Have also tried to delete the old Fanart Database.
Do i miss something?

Installed the Plugin again and replaced the File. Now it works.

I can't get the "User Managed Fanart" to work with "UNOFFICIAL FH from our dev Sebastiii - recompiled for 1.6". It is not showing the user fanart in the tab.
This works with the original FanartHandler 3.1. Everything else works fine.
Am I doing something wrong?

Edit: It seems to add user fanart according the logs and they are shown in MP1.6, but you can not edit the files because they do not show up in FH plugin.

Could it be that there is an issue with the Win 7 64Bit Version of the recompiled dll?

It gives me Exeption In Plug In Loading !

I uninstalled old FH, deleted manually all database entries, all log and everything else exept the xml files I found on my system
Replaced the dll file with the following result:

i had the same issue but then i found i was not using the last FH 3.1 after upgrade it work fine to me with win7 64 and Sebastii's dll

Yes i did. The first screenshot is with original FH 3.1 dll and the database created with Sebastiii's dll, and the second screenshot is with Sebastiii's dll and the same database created with his dll.

Hello,

I am also using the inofficial file version 3.1.0.0. The log contains some funny error though:

Error [ FanartHandler]: SetupDefaultBackdrops: System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: Ein Teil des Pfades "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\thumbs\Skin FanArt\UserDef\music\default.jpg\" konnte nicht gefunden werden.

This is a Windows XP path but I am running Win 7.

With pleasure, but how? The scraper is perfectly working for all music files. In the config there is just an open dialogue that you can only leave if you clock on abandon.
