You could try this UNOFFICIAL FH from our dev Sebastiii - recompiled for 1.6.
Copy the dll into your %MediaPortal Base%\plugins\process folder (MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE!)
Use on own risk - No guarantees at all!

Will this same version work for mp 1.7 Pre Release?

Thanks will try it again in the "morning" as it's 2am here....using extension installer to install fanart resulted in the "can't update database" message so I'll have to move some files manually and see if the new dll fixes the issue.

I can't manage "User manage Fanart"... All sections are empty... Anyone else? I'm using 1.6 compatible recompiled .dll from Sebastii. Plugin itself is working, and I can see user manage fanart inside MP, but I can't manage it.

Yep surely the fact of the recompiled version, i need to adapt code etc. but can' fully suceed (surely) for that part lol.
Need latest official source to adapt my change on top and all should be ok

This'd be great. Last official version is very old meanwhile and cul8er still seems to be busy, at least I've never read a statement :-(
I'd love to see this plugin be developed by someone who has more time...

When I let FH search for missing Artist/Album Thumbs in MP Config in the plugin itself, after scanning I get an error message.

Yep me too, i have see that, that's why we really need current code based on latest official version, but for now it will hard to have it.

Yep that old source from april 2012. So i don't know the exact release it is lol.

Understand your problem now: the sources online have a "last change comment" of October 2010, while the compiled version dates from April 2012. I guess that you don't have much choice than to wait for @cul8er to reappear.
