Oh, this is not surprising. Over the last 2 years cul8er has dropped nearly every project he was involved with. The last projects he was working on a year ago are Fanart- and LatestMedia Handler and a single one of his numerous skins. Don't remember which one as I wasn't using this but remember good as he dropped the skin I was using up to them (Backdrop)...

There you see (again) why it's never good to outsource core features into community plugins... Imagine the devs of TVSeries are suddenly leaving us. A dead skin can be replaced easily, maybe not as beautiful as before but you can use MP without this specific skin. There are lots of alternatives. But such essential things like Fanarthandler or TVSeries, Mp never is the same without. And lots of people would stop using MP at all if this ever will happen...

Then I still hope for an official release or rework of this essentialo piece of software. ATM, it's usable thanks to @Sebastii 's rework, but it's not bug-free.

Just a quick point - regardless of who does what with this once great app, the problem still remains that htbackdrops is unreliable at best and bust at worst. The domain is up for sale - for heavens sake!

Hi Guys,

So just wanted to check something. Today I rebuilt my my music library and used the latest Fan art Handler install plus Seb 's decompiled/ recompiled dll and it worked just fine. Full Fanart for all recognisable artists (I have an odd collection ).

From what I've been reading I thought this was broken under 1.9 but I have to confess I've not been paying that much attention due to real life.

What is the official position at this moment in time?

Why then there "Thumbs\Skin FanArt\UserDef\music\" are the files? This is the directory for the user and not for automatic upload.
