That would be my preferred situation also, but the problem is that the scraping of the albumthumb is done only once, no matter how many discs that album has. Probably scraped from the first track. We don't scrape based on discnumber, so a 7-disk album (properly tagged), scrapes only 1 thumb, which is used for the entire album.
Without a (probably database also) redesign of this, it will never word, and i have no clue how much work it is.
Maybe @hwahrmann has an idea about this

With the recent changes in 1.10, if you have selected that you want to see embedded cover art, we will always take it from there.
So you could even have a different cover for every single track of an album.

I was hoping you were gonna say that Then i'll have to do some more testing, because i couldn't get it to work.
I've tagged the files properly, so all files in 1 CD have a specific cover. Would it also be possible to have a generic cover for the album?
Here an example of an album:

I would love to see the General album cover after opening the AlbumArtist, and when opening the Album, the 7 CD covers should be visible on the CDs.

Download as a whole probably not a problem, call her actor-type album-disk1 but who will know about it? And who is going to show? The problem is that there is no single correct MP verified database musikbrainz Id. If these data are, as for the actors and for the albums and the disc, the image search would be easier and better.

Or simply use the release MBID + disc addon (similar to how MB uses it on their website)

Bad that this information is not available on the site fanart.tv, for disks has images for the first, second, etc. but no common. Album covers, though there are for each disk but no information about them in the api, so the program does not know how to download the cover of the disc number 3.

As I removed all of my album thumbs, all of my covers were missing. I've just finished a full re-scan of my music collection and hey, it worked! In my collection, I have a DJ mix series with a huge number on each mix's cover (Part 1, Part 2, etc). And if I browse my albums (Album Artist view), I see just one album (for some reason, the second disc was chosen to represent the folder) and when I click OK to browse the album, all track's individual covers are being shown correctly!

It is advisable to remove all the fanart, with names like Adriano Celentano (d2b50525-1111-4906-aab6-4553f035f679).jpg, and clean the database from non-existent fanart (Cleanup Missing Fanart).

By duplication they can lead only when the actor is less than stated in the fanart configurator.
