First of all, thanks mirk, awesome work!
This is exactly what I was looking for.
The results of movies section is wonderful, seeing your attached pics.

Unfortunately it seems I'm not able to let it work:(
Running latest Media Portal svn and latest Spin Safe
Followed the instructions in the first page, but nothing happens...non fanart in the background.
Just a question: the name of the .png must be the same of the video file or of the folder?
I mean I have this situation:
Folder [Cars BD 720p]
--->File Cars.mkw
Opening My Videos from Media Portal I point to the folders structure..
Anyway, it seems not to work in both case (fanart matching video file name or folder name)..
Thanks for you reply and sorry for my bad english;)

This is only used in database view. If i understand you correctly you trying to make it work in shares.
Add the movie to the database by select IMDB in the context menu of the cars.mkv for example.
When you have all movies in the database you can switch view to "Title view" then it will show the fanarts if the filename of the fanart has the exact same name as the title of the movie.

    Hope it helpt.

    Hello,

I can`t get it to work with the indigo skin. I have added the lines to myvideoTitle.xml at the same place as in spinsafe file. But I doesn`t see the fanart.

    Thanks!

Make sure you add the FanArt control after the background control, or else the background will cover it.

Hi, just a dumb question
As the .png image must have the exact same naming of the movie title, how can I manage titles as:
Sweeney Todd: The demon barber of fleet street
The Lord of the Rings: the fellowship of the ring
    THe chronicles of narnia: .....
all those movies which have a : or other special character that is not allowed in the windows file naming scheme?
    Thanks:D

Yes, that is a problem. Here i have changed the char ':' by ','. This can be done in the configuration section.
Like "Star Wars, Episode II - Attack of the Clones"
"The Lord of the Rings, the fellowship of the ring"

Can this be done in the shares view?

    No, i dont think so.
If so, the skin files need some tweeking.

    Thanks for the quick reply.
Do you mean in the movies editor section of the Media Portal configuration tool?
I have tried to edit some movie titles (as you did) but it doesn't work..I mean it seems I can't edit the title (changes are not saved...). Is there any particular step to follow?
    Cheers
