File crashing media portal (4 Viewers)

Do you have to close Configuration before the import completes to reproduce the crash?

I dont exactly know what you mean by that. The mytvseries configuration?
I am never really in the configuration except for when i add the c:\test
After that i close the configuration launch MP, go to mytvseries, the first time it asks about sample-abcd
I say skip always
Close MP and relaunch to simulate extended use, computer reboot whatever.
then when i go into mytvseries again the name has changed and it crashed MP

Once again this is only in the recently added menu that it crashes.

*EDIT*
the first time it shows under the recently added it is displayed as "sample-abcd - 1: xvid-fqm"
After a reboot and when it is crashing it shows as "1: xvid-fqm" the sample-abcd is gone.

I just installed on a completely different machine(i7) with a different fresh OS(win 7) and installed an earlier MP(1.0.2) and was able to reproduce the crash, using a fake empty file called "sample-abcd.s01e01.hdtv.xvid-fqm.avi"
I would love to help track down this, what more can i do to help?

here is a side note
While i thought it was "sample-"
that was causing the issue turns out it does the same thing with the file name "ABCDEF.s01e01.hdtv.xvid-fqm.avi"
The common thing between the two i guess is both come up with as an unknown show that i hit skip / never ask again.

and i guess with that in mind i can just make sure never to use the "skip / never ask again" button and make sure the sample get put in with the correct tv show.

Ok, for any of the developers to fix this we will obviously first need to reproduce. Can you please provide Clear and Concise steps (describing the most simplest scenario) that would be needed for us to reproduce.

Step1. ...
Step2. ...

Yes, will start writing one now.

1. Fresh install of both MP and Mytvseries.
2. Take any file named "sample-abcd.s01e01.hdtv.xvid-fqm.avi" put in in c:\test
3. Setup mytvseries to scan dir c:\test
4. close mytvseries config and launch MP
5. Enter mytvseries plugin inside of MP, It will scan and say Local series "sample-abcd"
6. Click Skip / Never show again
7. Do Switch View to Recently Added inside of mytvseries. Just verify "sample-abcd - 1: xvid-fqm" is listed.
8. Close MP
9. Open MP and go to mytvseries plugin
10. You should be showing recently added and it will hang right off the bat.

Side note
If you have more then just this file, it only hangs when you have the file in question selected.
If you do not have it slected it will show the name of the file named differently then before the relaunch of MP "1: xvid-fqm" and that will crash once you hover over it

Wondering if you had any chance to try to reproduce the error? I am using a work around currently so i am not constantly crashing but that leaves me with sample files in with my real shows.
Seems to me its crashing because of the "skip/never ask again" feature.

No, not yet im afraid. Will let you know if I can reproduce and will raise an issue on the tracker when I do.

Just got a new PC, so need to setup everything on that again first.
