    Re: AW: Re: File Explorer

Hi, here is FileExplorer compiled for MePo 1.2 Beta and above. I've versioned it v1.5.0.0.

Oh, sources are available: SourceForge.net Repository - [mp-plugins] Index of /trunk/plugins/File Explorer
Eh, I must first install the old and replace the file then?Or can i directly copy this files included in your rar file. I have not yet installed the File Explorer. Where do I copy the Files?

These are just plugin DLL files needed to run the plugin in MediaPortal 1.2 Beta.

Then there are language files and skin files, those are not in the package.

If you use English language, you probably don't even need language files anyhow.
Same goes if you are using skin that supports FileExplorer.

In other cases, you will probably need to install old version using installer, then replace the files I provided.

I counldn't even start the installation of the old version of FileExplorer when MP 1.2Beta is installed. Some needed files were not found.

Put both files to plugins\Window in the program folder.

Just I sad: But both dll-files to plugins\Window in the program folder. Not the "Compression" folder, only the "Compression.dll" and the "File Explorer.dll".

I attached the language files. Put the folder to PropramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\language\ .

Hm when i put both dll's in the plugins/window folder it comes an error when i opening the MePo Config. Under plugins stand "text viewer" And when a get over the icon the next error message comes.

EDIT: It works, with the language files.

There is problem with the loading of language files.
Although I have MP 1.2 in german and a german language file for File Explorer, the interface is still in english.
The only way to solve this was to rename strings_de.xml to strings_en.xml.

I also have problems to copy, delete or move folders. Any of this actions brings MP to crash.
    With files everything is fine

    Please have a look.

    Thanks Fischy667

Hello i have i bug, when i will delet an path MePo hangs. I must kill MePo.

EDIT:: I use the streamedmp Skin, there could create a progress bar while copies, shifts, deletes and so one ?Currently we do not see what happened so. It would be great if that could make someone.

With MP 1.1.7.27491 SVN FileExplorer.Setup is reported as incompatible for me. Can anyone using svn builds confirm this?
