Catavolt:
Could you post the modified scripts or instructions on how to modify the scripts. I would like to turn on the file extensions.
Thank you!

That´s a real nice finding .MediaPortal Version: 1.4.0
Description
I noticed when "Hide file extensions like .mp3, .avi, .mpg" in GUI settings is unchecked, the extension is also processed by IMDB command and this messes up the query forcing you to edit the file name. Only the file name, should be used for quiery, file extension should be excluded.
Steps to Reproduce:
Uncheck "Hide file extensions like .mp3, .avi, .mpg" in GUI settings. Attempt to run IMDB command. You will likely see the failure because file extension becomes a part of the query. Now check "Hide file extensions like .mp3, .avi, .mpg" in GUI settings and attempt to process IMDB. You will see the search giving you better results.
Can confirm - should be easy to fix in the different scrapers
@azzuro: IMHO no logs needed for this one - maybe you can add this to Jira?
