I had carefully collected a high quality DVD cover image for all my films and stored these as folder.jpg in the directory of the related film. Worked great .
When I changed to 0.2.3.0 I noticed that the IMDB function had been fixed/improved, so I scanned the movie drives to create a movie database. While doing that MP creates a low and a high resolution image and stores these in the database (thumbs). Unfortunately it also overwrites the folder.jpg file with the low resolution image .
This is not a problem until; you move the movie directory (or all of them as I did), this breaks the database and then MP defaults back to the folder.jpg file that it changed to the low resolution picture .
I'm again not using the movie database. I fixed all the artwork and to make double sure stored a copy of all the folder.jpg files too.
Creating the database and finding the right coverart took very much manual intervention. And when it is all done I have to start again on the second MP machine that shares the movies (but not the database). It just isn't worth it. This is the one thing I miss from MCE, the movies plugin worked realy well.
It seems that the problem is only in movies inside a folder in my movies directory!!! The ones that are in the root of that directory have their thumbs showing ok in filmstrip mode...
I was just tinkering with a few settings in the MediaPortal configuration and am happy to have found the cause of the problem.
Disabling the option "Single seat setup: force RTSP usage" under "TV/Radio", "Advanced Options" resolved the issue.
After I disabled this option, I was able to delete the recordings the first time...

Deleting recordings sometimes doesn't work.
Neither the 0 button nor the Info/Delete button works.
Nothing happens at all with...
maybe setting loglevel to debug might pinpoint the difference between normal and stuck?
Preferable with as much disabled as possible
also try to see if anything is happening during stuck for the mediaportal process(resource monitor, disk activity, cpu usage, anything)
maybe other programs competing for resouces?
