    IPTV version 2

    Hi guys,

I finally successfully tested multiple IPTV cards with single network adapter. It allows you to record one channel while watching another, or watching different channels on different computers at home. You can have as many cards as your bandwidth allows.

The code is compatible with today's svn, there were some changes in TVServer code (like database schema update). So you must install mediaportal and tvserver latest svn to make it work.

With SetupTV application, you can select number of IPTV cards in General settings tab.

After that, close SetupTV, restart TVServer and start SetupTV again. Select second (third, ...) IPTV card and start channel scanning. You have to do this for every IPTV card.

    Enjoy!

For future, someone (me?) should develop opensource filter to avoid buying elecard, but I think this is fine for now.
If you are up to the task, this would be great! (You have good DirectShow knowledge, I presume?)

Q: Do you need to set Elecard as decoder in TV Settings?

No, you can use any decoders in TV settings, Elecard is used only in TV Server as Stream source filter.

I have currently one more thing to do - SAP announcements in addition to m3u playlists. Open source UDP stream source filter is next in the list :D

    Hi,

    Thanks for your job !

I want to test the plugin, but i want some precision.
The protocol use for my iptv is rtp.
In vlc, if i want open a tv channel i open rtp://@232.0.1.29:8200
But in the netlab IPTV playlist, i don't know what write.
    I have tested : elecard://@232.0.1.29:8200:i:192.168.0.1:t=m2t/rtp but that's not work.
(i have write 192.168.0.1 and t=m2, but i don't know what it is).

    Can you help me ?
    Thanks !

Your iptv IP address is 192.168.0.1? If not, give i=yourip parameter. If you have only one network adapter, you can omit this part.

    elecard://232.0.1.29:8200:i=yourip:t=m2t/rtp

URL format is correct, so without '@'
    m2t means MPEG-2 TS
