now when you install the current svn build of tv-server, the error is hopefully gone.

Deleting the DB solved the problem. Now TS finds channels. I´m still waiting that scanning is finished, but looks good

thats one of the reasons why we always suggest to do a _clean_ installation when someone encounters issues.

you might want to check out the DPI setting .. needs to be default 96 dpi .. or strange problems might occur..
and looking at the screenshots in your posts.. you have modified themes with different fonts.. and probably also a non standard dpi setting..

im borrowing this thread becuase i have just bought a htpc and this tv-card... but when i start mediaportal nad get into mytv it says that: no tv card installed... but i have installed and search for the channels in the tv-server... do i need to install tv-server first and then mediaportal?

you did not install the client-plugin, right?

hm what plugin is that ... well i downloaded the tv-server/client, that was its name...what client-plugin are u talking about and where can i find it

well, if you start the TV-Server installer, it asks you which components to install.
there are 2 components. 1x TV-Server 1x client plugin.
if you installed TV-Server first and MediaPortal after that, then you do not have the client plugin installed because MP was not present when you installed the TV-Server.

simply run the installer again -> select modify -> and select the clientplugin also to be installed

well now when u say it...when i installed the tv engine server, you can cross 2 squares one for tv-server and one for client and i did both, but i installed the cliend again now but it just says the same, that i dont have any tv-cards installed.
