FireDTV DVB-S2 and Mediaportal (1 Viewer)

Are you using the BDA driver for the FireDTV?

yes i chosen the bda instead of the one for windows media center...

well now when u say it...when i installed the tv engine server, you can cross 2 squares one for tv-server and one for client and i did both, but i installed the cliend again now but it just says the same, that i dont have any tv-cards installed.

look inside "installation path"/MediaPortal/Plugins/windows and tell me the name of the dll's you have in there.

dialogs
tvplugin
extra menu
game menu
skin info
watch menu
windowplugins
xihsolutions-dotmsn

so when you enter "MyTV" you get the message that no TV-card is installed?

please start mediaportal with the "mediaportal debug" shortcut
reproduce the issue
attach the created logs.zip to your next reply

when i chose mediaportal debug a box comes up and it says that it cant access to c:\programdata\teammediaportal\mediaportal\log\configuration.bak but when i go into mediaportal folder i cant even see a folder with the name logs

are you using an gfx card from 1980 or do you connect with rdp?

i cant see any tv.log, is the server installed and running on the same pc?

seems like you didnt read the requirements either. because you are not using an MediaPortal svn build.

if u wondering over the graphics card i have an integrated on my Asus P5E-VM HDMI moderboard

to me it seems as if you allready have problems with installing it "the right way".
