Hi,

I just wanted to inform that FireDTV remote is broken again in windows 7. At least in x64 version. I've tried every Firesatapi.dll version I could find. The one from newest driver package MediaPortal doesn't even recognize, but with older one it shows these lines in configuration.log

2009-09-13 13:58:58.305818 [Info.][Config Main]: FireDTV: Using FiresatApi.dll located in FireDTV's install path C:\Program Files\FireDTV\Tools\FiresatApi.dll
2009-09-13 13:58:58.446218 [Info.][Config Main]: FireDTV: dll initialized
2009-09-13 13:58:58.461818 [Info.][Config Main]: FireDTV: BDA 1, WMA 0
2009-09-13 13:58:58.493018 [Info.][Config Main]: FireDTVRemote: Exception during setting combo Unable to get Driver Version!
2009-09-13 13:58:58.493018 [ERROR][Config Main]: FireDTVRemote: Exception during setting combo Unable to get Driver Version!

I would really appreciate, if someone could take a look at this. It doesn't seem to be a big problem, but still annoying.

Thanks in advance!

Hi I have the same problem on Windows 7 32bit bulit 7600. I´ve copied the FiresatApi.dll (32bit) to
programfiles\teammediaporte\mediaportel but in drop down menu, where I can normaly select the TV Cards, I can´t find any cards.

Any one some ideas?

thanks

Hi thanks for answer. But I have an 32bit windows 7 system not an 64bit. So It ´s a little bit confused I think, why The "DLL" not work correctly on Mediaportel 1.1 beta1.

Thaks and greetings ;)

Thanks for the info. I extracted 32-bit version of FiresatApi.dll from the latest drivers (5.6 Beta) to "C:\Program Files\FireDTV\Tools" folder and it works like a charm. It seems that there is some differences between 32-bit and 64-bit versions of FiresatApi.dll. So this one is fixed, at least for me.

Yes, that's exactly what I mean. It's weird, but true. I had to use older 32-bit FiresatApi.dll also in Windows Vista x64 version, but that version didn't work with Windows 7. 32-bit FiresatApi.dll from the latest drivers (5.6 Beta) did the trick and now everything is working again. Like I said there's something different in 64-bit version of FiresatApi.dll, because it doesn't seem to work at all. Actually it has never worked for me.
