    Log says it all:

    2010-11-24 21:00:43.968862 [Info.][Config Main(1)]: FireDTV: Using FiresatApi.dll located in FireDTV's install path C:\Program Files\FireDTV\Tools\FiresatApi.dll
    Simone

That is indeed fantastic news. Äh.. what does it actually say?
Is it saying it uses the version of FiresatApi.dll in that folder. Why the ... is it using this one and not the one in the MediaPortal folder?
Anyway. So what I do is copy the 32bit file into this folder and see. right?

    Yeaah!!! It is wooorking.:D
It worked after I copied the file into this recommended place (not MP Installation folder) AND opened and saved the MP Configuration Tool AND a new start of the system.
Thanks chemelli for helping!!! But you have to admit that using your cristal ball would have been far easier than finding the log files. You should get a new one.

    The Wiki should be updated!
    FireDTV - MediaPortal Wiki

    it should be changed to:
From the zip file you have to extract the 32bit version of 'FiresatApi.dll' and copy it in the FireDTV installation folder.

You can update the wiki! Note: I've done it for you this time and also updated the link to FireDTV Setup 5.7. ;)
