Please delete the section=MPControlPlugin in MediaPortal.xml in C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal and try again.

Your solution is Magic !!!

I deleted the entry and the error is gone now.

I'm going to test IRSS further now.

About testing IRSS: There are a few glitches here and there which could be improved. But currently it is not active developed as it is working for the most and is too complicated for the others.
Would be great if it could be rewritten using code from MP2, but a developer needs to be found who wants to do it.

I tried to set the macro to the "dvd menu" button of my remote like before, but this doen't work anymore.
Now I've set it to the "Guide" button and it works.

Very strange...

They probably changed something in MP 1.3.0 Beta ?

I think this because, when playing bluray,
in 1.3.0 Alpha when you pushed the "dvd menu" button,
the bluray would give some sort of bluray menu, but then MP crashed.

in 1.3.0 Beta when you push the "dvd menu" button,
the bluray gives the context menu, where you can choose between different options,
along with these options is "Pop-up menu", this is what I use the macro for.

So they definitely changed something there.

Maybe I can fix this by deleting the "abstract model" and re-add it again ?
Maybe because I had to reinstall IRSS, there's something blocking the previously used "DVD menu" button ?

IIRC the abstract remote model was customized the last time years ago: C:\ProgramData\IR Server Suite\MP Control Plugin\Remote Presets

Not sure which settings you customized previously, but you need to reconfigure your MPControlPlugin.

start with windows after the installation of MP 1.3.0 Beta

I found a fix on the forum.
You need to put a link to the IR Server.exe in your windows startup folder

Yesterday I installed a clean MP 1.3.0 ALPHA on another pc and IRSS,
there the service starts with windows, like normal.

Later today I'm gonna upgrade that pc to 1.3.0 Beta,
then I'll know if it's the fault of MP 1.3.0 Beta or not.

I compared the Abstract Remote Model.xml and also the remotes.xml from the 2 pc's, they are 100% the same. So the bug can't be in those 2 files

I also noticed on the 1.3.0 Alpha pc,
there are a lot more directories in the programdata\ir server folder than on the 1.3.0 Beta pc

Probably the difference is in those folders.

For now I can use the "guide" button instead of the "dvd menu" button.

What is your remote ?
i search times for re-adjust Abtract Key map for Imon ! is standby actually.
but the problem is Imon are not same remote button as MCE ... as DVD / Myvideo / ... and Colored buttons.

Looks like I was too quick in my conclusion,
it thought it worked, but it doesn't work anymore.

Always have to go to services.msc and manually restart the IR Server.

Can someone help me fix this please.
