StreamedMP Skin Files

Was a tad bored today and tried out StreamedMP skin...lacked 4TR support so some what curtailed the experiance so created the required files.

Slow exit

does anybody else experience a little problem when exiting mp via remote that the screen won't instantly show the desktop but the last "frame" of mp instead until you press any key on you keyboard/move mouse? i'm not sure if this only occurs since 1.0 final, i think it also was in rc4, but what i can say is that this only happens with installed 4tr... without it mp 1.0 final quits as it should... quitting with alt+f4 also shows desktop instantly...

Not having that problem here, using Blue3Wide with Blue2Wide skin files.

Nvidia vs ATI perhaps, or Vista EVR againt VMR9 !!

I switched to B3W, same problem.
Disabled 4TR plugin, same problem.
Switched beween EVR and VMR9, sae problem.
Cannot switch to ATI now

I cannot confirm that it is 4TR. :sorry:

Today I spent the afternoon upgrading to MP 1.0 and FTR 1.3.1. I dream of the day when this will not take a whole afternoon.

Anyway, I experience some more problems now compared to before the upgrade. When watching live TV (inside MP) I sometimes get sound with no picture... sometimes I get picture with no sound, but the biggest problem is that I frequently get neither sound or picture but instead I get an error message "Not supported on your recorder/tuner(s)". Restarting TVServer.exe seems to help. Another clue could be that it is related to the physical (or logical) TV card. I have both DVB-T and analog TV cards and the problem always begin on one of them, and later "spreads" to the other one. It seems like the resource is not released properly(?).

Anyway, is this a known problem or should I go and search for log files? If so, please tell me what to look for and where.

I experience the same problem and have concluded that the timeshift files don't get deleted when you stop live TV. And after that live TV don't work reliable, restarting Tvserver deletes the timeshift files and everything works again. If I delete the files manually live TV start to work again. I do think dvdfreak knows about it and a fix is scheduled for next release.

Anyone else finding TV card locked, due to the fact its still timeshifhting a channel that you exited 15 minutes previously.

This does not happen with 1.3 or normal MP setup.

I don’t think it still is timeshifting because the timeshift files are no longer locked when manually deleting. It doesn’t remove them because they are still locked when it tries to do it after live TV is turned off. That sounds great. I have been waiting for some decent skinfiles for StreamedMP. Looking forward to trying them out.

Yes, I found the source of this problem and this will be fixed in 1.3.2, starting with BETA 1.

These are still evolving, couple of fixes already - let me know a few days before the next release and will send you the current files.

I have problems with Web Access. I managed to enable IIS in Vista and I can see FTR main page, but no pictures on the web pages are shown. If I enter the URL of any image in web browser I get a blank screen. The source code of it is:

So my IIS returns this code instead of any PNG.

I assume there is something wrong in my IIS configuration, but I have no idea what.
