still thinking about the WAF - if I select a current program, does it still ask if I want to record it? The behaviour I would like is as follows:

when selecting current program - go directly to fullscreen tv.
when selecting future program - prompt to record or alert just before it starts.
when selecting any program but pressing the record button - record this, dont bother showing any screens, maybe just a dialog box saying "program XXXXXXXXX set to record".

Just one thing, for the people witch use standby, like myself: The Powerscheduler has to be disabled with 4TR. 4TR uses the Windows-included-Standby-Routine. Works flawless for me, can now even send the system with the remote into standby, and it wakes up to the next record. Something the Powerscheduler never did for me.

Awesome software suite, dvdfreak!!!

I love it. I installed it, and it worked EXACTLY as expected first time!!! I had my TV Guide and everything replaced in less than 2 hours - and I only came across 4TR today!! very intuitive.

Now if only Harley could support it in his XFace skin (hint, hint, nudge, nudge, wink, wink)

We have out-of-the-box support for Blue3, BlueTwo, BlueTwo Wide, Indigo and Monochrome. I would be more than happy to include skin files for XFace and/or others in the next point-release, you (or Harley ) could post them on the For The Record forum first for example...

ok i have a probably stupid question but theres only one way to find out
i cannot record from s3 in mp and have been using pvrscheduler which works but isn't integrated like this is... if i install this is it possible it could solve my record from s3 problems or does it use the same method of doing this as mp and therefore wouldn't make a difference?

just tried this without any powerscheduler settings enabled, also disabled MPStandbyHandler, set in TVServer\fortherecord reinitiliase service and under the general section still kept my 20 second delay before TVServer looks for cards.

This just caused TVServer to fail, the exact same way it would have done with MP's own powerscheduler.

Now tried with MPStandbyHandler service running and fortherecord initiliase disabled, it works fine, scheduling from standby i'm going to be trying now
