Version 1.4 will create thumbnails for recordings. The thumbnails are created and provided by our core services, so they are available to all clients (like MP or the Management Console).

I actually uploaded BETA 1 of 1.4 to our beta section of our forum yesterday, and it will need some skin changes for the radio support...

Initial beta's are not publicly available, we open up the beta section to our testers and to users who have donated (as our way to say thank you), so we let them abuse the BETA first ;)

Once all the (known) bugs are ironed out 1.4 will be available to all.

Hahah, sorry man so tired... oops... Um hey not to bug you again, god... Asking earlier about AND and OR commands.... Is that integrated
For The Record - View topic - More advanced filter (AND, OR, -, "")
By the way, the AND, OR and NOT logic is built into version 1.4. And it's actually way cool :D

are there any known issues using 4TR with the Automatic RefreshrateChanger Plugin?

I tried 4TR but after installation it didn't switch to the right refreshrate. Like switching to 50hz on PAL...
After I uninstalled 4TR everything is working fine again.

    I tested it with:
    - MP 1.0.1
    - 4TR 1.3.3
    - StreamedMP

winni - make sure your tv/monitor can handle different refresh rates like 24 or 60 or 50, otherwise it's not a lot of use.

    I was wondering if this intended behaviour or not, could go either way but I don't really like it;

When you click a program in the tv guide webaccess a javascript like lightbox pops up. But when you move past the borders of that box it disappears? Since the record and other buttons are at the bottom of that box I constantly accidently move past the box only to have to click it again, to try again.

Besides that the box is movable but always snaps back into place on firefox (run 3.08) but not in IE.

Yes, I'm not sure why the box doesn't stay in its new place on FireFox, but other than that it's intended behaviour. The alternative would be to put a close button on the popup, which would please you, but could annoy others. Difficult to say where the majority lies :)

yep, I figured as much that it might be intended. I can understand that you do not want to change it. Maybe a more user friendly solution would be to either have the box a bit bigger or moving the buttons a little bit more of the edge of the box. It's very frustrating trying to control fortherecord webaccess with a touchpad for example :)
    Just a request.

    p.s.
Most lightboxes have a close button but they also go away when you click outside the box (so in the gray area). I understand if you do not want it behaving like this. Some of them also respond to left/right keys (swapping images, but fortherecord could take the next program) and esc key to close the popup

    p.s.2

Maybe you could make it a setting somewhere, just another suggestion, see what you want to do with it. I can live with all this, just would be nice (at least for my needs)

I'll put your suggestions on our list which is ever growing... ;) I certainly don't want to dismiss them, far from it, but we always have to prioritize things since there's only two of use working on For The Record and we have limited time.
