Fresh install 5min of use and it freeze ! (1 Viewer)

Ok.. some time back I had some big troubles with my computer.
No matter what I did, it often freeze !
I have now formated my computer with a FRESH install on a NEW C: disk.
Installed: win7 , every windows update, installed MP 1,2, installed Black Glass Nova skin, installed Rockstar, Trakt, etc.. plugin..
I have NO TV card, only music and downloaded tv series (Was my plan)

Computer is new, new install from fresh etc..
After turning on MP, changed to Black Glass Nova skin, entered PLUGINS in the meny, clicked SUB SENTRAL (to read the about) , the "about" is 4 pages.
page 1\4 ok, 2\4 ok... but when I click page 3\4 computer CRASH !!!

This is C"#%&, because exactly THIS problem was what I had on the last install of MP also !! the reason why I never use MP as a TV-media.
With this skin, it seems like every time I try to scroll down, go from page 1-2 etc.. it freeze !!!!
I cant believe that I am the only one with this problem on this skin??


I have not added a BUG. report, bcuz I would like to know what report you need ?

Steps to Reproduce:
Start MP
Start Black Glass Nova skin
Enter Plugins
SubCentral "about"
Read page 1-4 and on page 2-3 it will freeze.

I start MP, start Rockstar and play a tune, then computer freeze when I start to read info that is more than 2 pages.. every every time...

No, I dont have Rockstar or the other plugins working in Default skin.
So there is no way I can get that bug in the Default skin !

I will also add some details:

After playing a Tune from Rockstar, and then start to scroll on some info,
it could be either "news" with 2 or more pages I need to scroll.
it could be "trakt" when you need to scroll\skip more than 2-3 pages down.

But common for every time is that the song still play in the back, when I HIT my remote I can hear the "click" sound.
So for me it seems like MP still running 100% behind the frozen skin.


even if i manage to "blindly" locate the X button inside MP I can close it, and restart it.

If plugins don't work in Default skins than is something with your installation of MP. I suggest clean installation of MP (remove MP, delete all settings, install MP and plugins with Default skin).

This IS a clean installation of MP !
In fact it`s a clean installation of the whole computer from scratch.
MP is the only program installed on this machine.

And why do I want the plugin to work with Default skin when NOVA is the skin I want to use?

The problem is between the Black Nova skin and MP + plugins..

Update: sorry but the plugins does indeed work on default skin (was just me that did not find them first time)
When I try "subCentral" etc other plugins, MP does not freeze .

So the problems is for sure somewhere in the design of Black Glass Nova skin.

If everything works fine with Defaultwide, is it the HD version of Black Glass Nova you are using, the X800 graphics may be the weak link here., in fact older drivers may be better, ie 10.4 or 11.4, both of these were reported by users as not having any video playback problems.

I messed around with the Default Skin now for 15 minutes playing songs from Rockstar, and then using TRAKT.FM to search for similar artists, when MP suddenly freeze again

Music still playing in the back, and remote works, but the SKIN is frozen so you cant do anything....
