    Oh, you posted an update?
I'll try again to get this to work after flashing the FBF with the new beta firmware ;-)

    Hello,
the call-monitor works very fine, but I have since the installation of
v1.0.2221.19017 a very high cpu-usage while mp is running !

    Any ideas

same for me. i use a 'normal' pc as a HTPC. the problem is: when the CPU usage goes up, it gets really really noisy. quite annoying (-;.

normaly e.g. in fullscreen TV i have ~5% CPU, max. 10%

when the plugin is activated i have up to 70% whihc makes it pretty much unusable. not that anything would get choppy or something like that - i have a quite powerful system - but the noise is unbelievable!!

First of all, thanks for your work.
It would be really nice to use it, but I have the same problem:

Normal CPU Usage when MP is idle about 2-5%
When the call monitor plugin is startet it jumps to 100%.
This really avoids using it. :-(
On my other machine which runs XPSP2 it's the same, BTW.

P.S. I just took a short glimpse into the source: a "while (TRUE) " loop is never a good idea... The only time the cpu usage goes down, is when an message is displayed and it's waiting for the ok button.

well if you're able to fix it, please do so (-;. i don't know if theres a possibility to contact the original developer since i haven't saw something from him here for quite a while

I will try, but I will have to install the Visual Studio first an get a working environment with the whole Mediaportal sources to compile it.
So this will take me a while.
If someone else has it already up and running it should be a piece of cake...
I don't know when I will be able to take the time, but I will try.

    Cheers

    Just a quick follow up:
I managed to put it to sleep. I incorporated it into the normal plugins dll. I'm now working on a way to publish it properly.
If anyone wants to use it before I am ready, they can use my modified dll based on teh svn build 2006-16-06.
Bare in mind, that this is only temporary and will enevntually not work on a later build.
Just remove the fritzbox plugin dll from the plungins directory and overwrite the plugins\windows\windowplugins.dll with the new one.
Unfortunately I cannot attach anything to this post. :-( So you'll have to wait a little more.

    Cheers
