Maybe you can help me.... somewhere on here there was a posting about setting up a VM on a windows box.
I cannot locate it. By chance do you know the post?

Well that is connected to DirectX
Now the question is why... Still interesting because you are watching TV on it and it crashes
What video drivers are you using? New from the manufactures web site or the CD that came with it?
Do you have any add on cards in the machine?
Does the motherboard software come with any GPU speed up or configuration software?

I do see a few area's where this crash has been cleared up by a bigger power supply.
As a test, do you have a standard PW you can connect and test with?

I didn't install any utilities except the intel firmware updater.
My chip drivers installed from the ASRock install disk are the most recent,
The video drivers from intel for the onboard gpu are the most recent, downloaded from intel (also made available from windows update)
no expansion cards. I only have one case fan, 1CPU fan, 1 HDD, 1 BluRay drive. no frills.

the Live TV has been going now for over an hour.. 3rd test today after some tweeks.

I did make changes in the bios. turned off the hooks to the ASRock utilities. RAM is set to the correct module profile.
