Just found out that current Extensions plugin gives ability to load plugin setting screen using hyperlink. So i.e. you could add Settings button in your plugin which leads you to setting inside Extensions plugin.
So it is still awesome Just need to use it properly by plugins' devs

button setting is only used for config plugin in MP, not for update ?

@azzuro - any plugin can add a button to update via MPEI - that has existed since MPEI was first introduced, but also used only by a few.
As a result, many skins now use the MPEI feature to display a button/link to the 'Updates' view in the Extensions plugin (which lists updates to all the plugins you have installed) but there is no reason a plugin cannot add that feature directly to their own skin plugin skin files.

i think we don't understand, i speak for updating plugin.

you are right, button update and changelog exist. my problem is not selecting update, but for install itself. logically the procedure is :

- Choose Plugin update
- (auto)Close MP
- Download Plugin update
- Install Plugin update / I see screenschot above ( here is my prob, with onlinevideo, i must use mouse, for select setting choice, and next screen / finish screen)
- MP restart

The Oragne MPEI update button displays when an update is available - you can navigate to it with a remote, press enter and it updates IMDB+ to the latest version. Any skin can add such to their ski files. Any plugin dev can add it to default skin files. But only about 4 or 5 have.

Yes, it's my "issue"
suggestion : for procedure :
- Choose Update
- Download update
- pré-install update ( only set setting choice directly in MP, need to adapt mpei installer GUI directly in MP)
- Close MP
- Install update (copy / overwrite files/config )
- restart MP
(maybe have all option in extensions plugin, for set plugin without need to enter in configuration.exe, but this is for DEv plugin ...)

only one issue not found, in extension for clean "history" cache !
