Gapless Playback (1 Viewer)

I'd love to see native support for gapless playback in MP!

I just upgraded from MP 1.2.1 to MP 1.4.0; I used PureAudio for gapless playback, but the latest stable version seems to be incompatible (MP Configuration crashed when entering the plugins area). A recompiled version works better, but does not work with DirectSound. So there's no option for gapless playback at all...

I gave up and installed EventGhost and set it up so I can control Foobar using my remote. Works great. Need to experiment with HTPC-oriented skins though cos I'm sure they're more efficient than my current one, which is more designed for desktop usage. I made sure to enable a blank screensaver too because my plasma gets really bad image retention from static windows.

Ok, seems i have been able to fix the gapless playback issues.
A build, based on 1.5-Pre, can be found in Area 51.

Please test and report any findings in the Area 51 thread.
