Hiya,
Is there any way to have multiple instances of the webbrowser plug-in, or at least different start pages?
What I would like is to have an icon on the screen for certain websites.
Basically, I'd like to create a new skin page, with a set of icons that the wife can click on, which would go directly to the correct page.

For example, a youtube icon, which would open youtube.com, an amazon icon which opens amazon.com

I would really like if you could please my wife with a setting for amount of pixels to scroll down per click. Or softscroll.

Now, it's hard to follow the text when scrolling, and especially when you are not the one scrolling

Is this the only working Internet Browser Plugin for MediaPortal? It seems not to be that new

Is it recommendable? Is it working with Youtube (Flash)?

Nope, but it's the only one fully integrated so far. There are other ways but that means either exiting MP and automatically starting a browser full screen or running a browser full screen on top of MP (which is only possible I think with a not always on top setting of MP). look @ firefox integrator plugin for example

I believe it works with flash if you have flash installed for IE, since this plugin, I believe, just uses an M$ dotnet component which is based upon IE.

My personal preference is the usage of this plugin in combination with InfoService in order to read the feeds but using a firefox integrator like structure to really surf the web together with my portal thingie I posted a link to couple posts back.

I really want to update the WebBrowser, but i'm stuck at the moment. At the moment i have a firefox based integrated browser ready. It works good so far, but there are some performance problems which i can't solve right now. Especially some websites with javascript (i think it's not flash) are really slow.

I think the performance problems can be solved with the right integration of windows components in MediaPortal. But as i don't know how to integrate a windows component the right way into MP it's really hard. Perhaps some MP developer can give me some tips?!

Briefly speaking right now the development is stopped, also because in 3 weeks i'll have to do my exams :>
