glsf91 could you please explain in detail what settings you are using in the KeyboardInputPlugin for that key that doesn't work (what action, condition, for a specific plugin or general fullscreen video, ...).
Maybe I can reproduce it and fix it. But I can't promise anything.

For example I have de key code 10079 (Control O) added to button name Info (for context menu). Condition Fullscreen and action context menu. Also a layer with no condition and action context menu.

When I then play a .mkv file start/stop, play again then this key was not working anymore. If I press F9 (MP context key defined) it show the context menu ! Sometimes it works, mostly not.

When I disable this plugin en define in MP config, General, Keys and sounds this key Ctrl O with ACTION_CONTEXT_MENU, it works without problems.

With MP 1.0.2 on XP and plugin 2.2.0.0 no problem at all.

I added the file I used.

Ok, i've managed to create some logs :)
How to reproduce: I just pressed all my buttons a lot of times.
What happened: I lost the "back" button which is binded to "ESC", now it just acts as backspace instead --> Broken og MP has to be restarted.

And oh, i didn't managed to find it in the logs..

since I installed RC2 the plugin wasn't working so I installed the version by [heck], but this version won't let me switch to basic home - any chance of someone recompiling the plugin under RC2 with this fixed. It was fixed in the version posted by Mercbac, but that version is not working in RC2.

I had a look at the code, and I think I know how to fix this, but I have an issue with one of the assembly references, and can't recomplile the plugin...

    Thanks Jason

Here's my own recompile of the plugin that works for me under MP RC2. This time I had to change more code in order to get it to compile at all, but following some of Visual Studio's hints helped a great deal in fixing the compiler errors. This one probably doesn't fix the issue that some people are having with 'losing' the key-mappings, but it works for me and it allows me to go to Basic Home.

Thanks. But the other one worked perfectly for me(except the loosing key-mappings issue) Do you have some time to look into it?

I'm sorry but I wouldn't know where even to begin looking into the loss of key-mappings. My main reason for trying to recompile it myself was that I wanted it to allow switching to basic home. And following VS hints on the compilation errors in order to get that done was tricky enough... As much as I'd like to help, this is beyond me.

Hi, I´ve been fighting with my Asus S-Presso to get this working again (after update to RC2). This is the only plugin that makes it´s remote work so that you can use it at all. Now the latest dll (from Mercbac) gets it almost but still somehow the remote keeps loosing focus and the BACK button stops working (but the keyboard ESC button still works)?
The remote works when I go thru the menu back and forth. But when I play movie or music etc. and then try to use the BACK button, it only goes the begining of the menu, not previus menu, like it suppose to (if I press keyboards ESC button it still goes to previous menu).
So, could you guys PLEASE try to check this out and fix this problem.

Thanks, and keep up the good work... :)
