I'm not an expert in PowerCinema but in my case it starts at the point where I left it (Antenna input). Maybe it starts there by default. I use MCE remote control with it, I start PowerCinema with MCEs Live TV button and I can easily navigate anywhere with it. Let me know if you find a way to start right away at Digital TV. Is everything else OK? What version do you use?
